Intermingle creates weekend resort getaways that offer the usual resort-style activities combined with resources that support improving one’s lifestyle –on your terms.
The social comradery of like-minded people that enjoy resort experiences is enhanced with access to information from some of the leading experts in lifestyle improvement… all in a combination of activities, relaxation and evening entertainment.
As an SEO and Internet marketer, I've seen many changes both good and bad across the Internet since 1995. One of the bad things that happened for small businesses like Farmer's markets, Restaurants, Caterers, Bakeries etc. was Facebook going public. That's great for Facebook, but they have shareholders to answer to and quarterly reports have to show profit. That profit is earned on overcharging for advertising to small businesses like in the food industry. Restaurants and other food related businesses are not getting the social reach that Facebook used to provide, but are now only reaching about 1% of their own fans on their Facebook pages and groups. After that organic reach, Facebook starts prompting businesses to pay to "Boost" a post for $5 to $20.
The new Foodie Social Media site we've built at http://askthecookbook.com is similar to many of the features of Facebook, but the site provides 100 times the organic/social reach to fans. As restaurants invite their fans to join their groups on Foodie Social Media, all of the food related businesses on the site benefit from having such a large and targeted audience on the site.
Instead of asking restaurants and other food businesses to pay $5 or $20 to "Boost" posts, Foodie Social Media only asks businesses on the site to contribute a nominal membership fee of $10 per month and gives 100% organic social reach to their fans. In addition, all foodies that have a free membership on the site can see every post from every public group on the site in a site wide activity feed.
With over 12,000 recipes and 6,000 cooking shows, the site has a lot of content for foodies to use and share, with new content continually added by members, fans and site admins.
As an SEO and Internet marketer with 20 years of web development experience, I can tell you that the site is the best bang for the buck that any food related business can find for marketing their business to frequent diners and foodies.

A Review on Recent Advances of Packaging in Food IndustryPriyankaKilaniya
Effective food packaging provides number of purposes. It functions as a container to hold and transport the food product, as well as a barrier to protect the food from outside contamination such as water, light, odours, bacteria, dust, and mechanical damage by maintaining the food quality. The package may also include barriers to keep the product's moisture content or gas composition consistent. Furthermore, convenience is vital role in packaging, and the desire for quick opening, dispensing, and resealing packages that maintain product quality until fully consumed is increasing. To facilitate trading, encourage sales, and inform on content and nutritional attributes, the packaging must be communicative. For storage of food there is huge scope for modified atmosphere packaging, intelligent packaging, active packaging, and controlled atmosphere packaging. Active packaging has a variety of uses, including carbon dioxide absorbers and emitters, oxygen scavengers, antimicrobials, and moisture control agents. Smart packaging is another term for intelligent packaging. Edible packaging, self-cooling and self-heating packaging, micro packaging, and water-soluble packaging are some of the advancements in package material.
