Suitable for the most luxurious
bridal wear and evening wear, this
fabric has a sensual soft drape
and is available in many stunning
colors.
The velvet is 82% viscose pile on a
‘net’ or backing of silk at 18%. (With
devoré fabrics the ratio of silk to
viscose will vary depending on the
design.)
Heavy weight crepe-de-chine at
128gms per sq. metre is one of
the heaviest pure silk fabrics that
we use.
It has more of a matt finish than
the medium weight crepe but is
ideal for drapping.
