Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic disorder that affects 1 in 3,000 births. It has a wide range of complications from mild to severe, including blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and pain. There is currently no cure or effective treatments. The Children's Tumor Foundation is dedicated to improving lives of the over 2 million people worldwide with NF. It is the largest non-government funder of NF research, which is increasing understanding of cancer, brain tumors, learning disabilities, and bone abnormalities to benefit the broader community.
