1. God has all the Power Genesis 1:1 In the beginning
God created the Heaven and Earth.
When I woke up this Morning God put this verse in
me to use today. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God
created the Heaven and Earth. I know this is the first
scripture you learned growing up. It’s the first book
of the bible and the first scripture in the bible.
Genesis talks about how Sovereign God really is he
created everything on Earth all by him self and he
created Heaven too. And everything he created he
said it was good. God not only tells us in Genesis on
how powerful he is but he shows us by creating the
EARTH. I want to step off topic for a second we
serve a mighty God who’s worthy to be praise
because he is good. Despite our many faults and
wrong doings he’s just to forgive us. God forgives us
before we even ask for forgiveness to him. Now
that’s love right there. Nobody you can find who will
forgive you before you even ask for forgiveness. And
since God created the heaven and the earth and he has
all power in his hand why not go to him with all of
your troubles and problems. If god can create the
Earth all by him self surely he can take care of our
burdens by himself. But when we start to fall in love
with the world and chase after the sin we are taking
our eyes off of God. The bible says to obey our
parents so you can have longer days on earth and if
you don’t your days will be shorter. Its good to obey

2. your mom and dad who’s your earthly parents. But
you also have to obey God who is your Eternity
parent. We have to put all of our faith in God and
know he will deliver. We know that God has all
power in his hand yet we don’t put all of our trust in
him. We have to rebuke and ask the Lord to remove
anything that’s not like him out of us, and to give us a
clean heart to follow him and to do his will. If we
never went through anything in life we will be
crippled. God put trials and tribulations in our life to
see how we will handle it. Take all of your problems
to God and he will show and guide you through out
the day. You can only serve one God, but I tell you if
you choose to serve God you will have peace and joy.
We cant put nothing before or above God. God is a
jealous God and he wants to know you appreciate
him. No matter how high of a position you are in or
even if you have a lot of money God has more power.
We have to stay humble when God sends blessings
our way we have to give him praise. He was the one
who sent you a blessing it wasn’t look God favored
you. I remember when I first came to high school I
was behind a lot on my work because at the time I
was at alternative school. So I came around close to
the second semester and when I came in the school I
went to the counselor office to discuss my classes on
how I can catch up with my mom. And so he pulled
up my grades and how many credits I had and I was

3. far behind it was no way at the time I was gone catch
up or graduate on time how far I was behind. So we
just was sitting there and we got off topic and we
started talking about God and Family and at the time
I didn’t know where this was headed I was just ready
to go to class to start working. I didn’t know at the
time I was being blessed until I graduated and
reflected back. So I was sitting there with my mom
then all of a sudden the man said God just spoke to
me and told me to help you out. He said don’t worry
about having to catch up on anything you just stay
out of trouble and I will take care of you. So I’m
sitting there like ok how are you going to do that.
Then before I know he said he was going to give me
credits to catch me up with everybody else. And so I
was happy at the time that I will be able to graduate
with my class. But as I reflect now that was God in
the midst of that he favored me and he showed how
great he is and his power to take care of me. And I
thank him for doing that because he didn’t have to
but he did. God blesses us and we don’t even know
how blessed we are until we reflect on it. God has all
power in his hands put your trust in him and never
doubt him and he will show up when you thought
there was no way. Don’t take credit for nothing that
happens in your life God is in control of everything.
And God knows what’s best for his people so
whether he put something good or bad in my life I

4. know he did it for a reason and he has a purpose
wrapped up around it on why he did it. God is my
everything he has all power in his hands.
