3. Exodus 6:6-8
6 “Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the Lord, and I will
bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will
free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you
with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of
judgment. 7 I will take you as my own people, and I will be
your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God,
who brought you out from under the yoke of the
Egyptians. 8 And I will bring you to the land I swore with
uplifted hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. I
will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.’”
5. Reliance on God
● God knows our situation. (Exodus 2:23-25)
Exodus 2:23
During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The
Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and
their cry for help because of their slavery went up to
God. 24 God heard their groaning and he remembered
his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with
Jacob. 25 So God looked on the Israelites and was
concerned about them.
7. Reliance on God
● Exodus 6:9 Moses reported this to the
Israelites, but they did not listen to him
because of their discouragement and
harsh labor.
○ Will we still put our faith in God even
though the reality we are seeing is the
opposite of God promised?
○ Will we still trust God with His words?
8. Reliance on God
● God is faithful to His words, He is stable and
never change.
● Reliance demands communication
● If your reality now is not what God told you, then
your situation is only temporary.
10. Response
What will be our response in times of:
Miracle, Need, Waiting
Are we going to:
Believe, Doubt, Blame
11. Exodus 13:17-18
When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead
them on the road through the Philistine country,
though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face
war, they might change their minds and return to
Egypt.” 18 So God led the people around by the desert
road toward the Red Sea.[a] The Israelites went up
out of Egypt ready for battle.
12. Exodus 14:10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites
looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching
after them. They were terrified and cried out to the
Lord. 11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there
were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the
desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing
us out of Egypt? 12 Didn’t we say to you in Egypt,
‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would
have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to
die in the desert!”
13. Exodus 14:13
Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand
firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will
bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will
never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you
need only to be still.”
14. ● In times of doubt, God is merciful and graceful in
assuring us He will fight on our behalf.
● “You need only to be still.”
16. Repentance
● Change of mind
● Israelites were delivered out from slavery but
their mental state was still binded by slavery.
● Repentance was asked by Jesus because there is
something that He will give that requires a
change of mind in order to appreciate and
maximize. (Matthew 4:17)
17. ● Freedom is not a place but a mental state.
Freedom from mental slavery.
● Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Romans 12:1-2

(Read the Verse)
As a Christians minsan dumadating tayo sa point na in our own kala natin hindi natin kaya like moses pero nakakalimutan natin magtiwala sa PANGINOON

God knows their situations kung gaano sila nahihirapan at kung ano yung mga hinaing nila, sabi don God heard their groaning. Nag relay sila sa Panginoon kasi di na nila kaya yung matinding sitwasyon nila.
And sometimes may mga sitwasyon sa buhay natin
