various positions.
In his most recent position, John had responsibility for managing 50 hourly employee’s to
meet and / or exceed our safety, weld quality, cost and responsiveness targets. He was
responsible for ensuring our Lean Manufacturing principles were maintained on a daily
basis and showed excellent leadership in his dealings with his team members. John was
respected across the plant as a manager who was able to drive his system to consistently
produce excellent quality and responsiveness results.
John also shows excellent follow up and problem solving in regards to addressing safety
issues / concerns and takes pride in his safety performance over his career at General
Motors. He has been instrumental in numerous process improvement initiatives and is
always looking for ways to drive waste from his process.
John has been a valued employee whose employment with GM has been impacted as a
result of a restructuring event within the company, unrelated to his performance.
