16. Does the trial license support MS Exchange and MS SQL backups? How do I test them? Yes, the StoreGrid trial version supports MS Exchange and MS SQL backups. You will find detailed instructions to backup MS Exchange server in our help documentation here. http://www.vembu.com/storegrid/help StoreGrid supports backup of Microsoft Exchange servers using two types of plug-ins: Basic Plugin and Advanced Plugin. The trial version has the Advanced Plugin functionality included. The Advanced plug in is much more flexible and efficient while backing up MS Exchange servers. It supports backup of storage groups in entirety, as well as individual mailboxes within the storage groups. Note: that with Microsoft Windows 2008 servers, basic plugins for Exchange backup will not be supported as Microsoft is deprecating the NTBackup utility. Q A
