To reach the top of Preikestolen requires a nearly 2 hour hike up 600 meters on a well-marked trail. The hike requires proper footwear and physical fitness. The views from the top of the rock plateau are breathtaking, but those suffering from vertigo should be cautious of looking down off the edge. He later joined King Oliver's band in Chicago which was very successful. Armstrong helped popularize jazz music and scat singing. He was known as the "King of Jazz" and helped spread jazz music around the world.
