George Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl was published in 2007 and tells the story from George's perspective of what happens when he is left alone with his mean grandmother. To get revenge for her meanness, George creates a potion by mixing together all the liquids in the house. When he gives it to his grandmother, strange things start happening to her like floating, her stomach burning, and growing to the size of the roof. Eventually George's father wants him to recreate the potion to shrink George's grandmother back down after seeing its effects.

person, point of view as told by George.
There are 4 chief characters. George is a nice, clever little
boy, Grandma is an unthankful, crazy, lazy lady,Mr. Kranky is
George’s dad,Mrs. Kranky isGeorge’s mom.
George is left alone with his grandma because his mom and
dad went to the village. Grandma is taking advantageof having
George home alone with her. Then grandma does series of mean
things to make him upset. He ran out of the room. He sat at the
table thinking how to get payback.
So he made a plan called “The Marvelous Plan”. He took his
grandma’smedicine and dumped it out. He is going to make a
medicine. He got an enormous two handled pot. He went around
the whole house getting everything that is a liquid and dumping
it in the pot.
The Marvelous Medicine is done. He gives it to grandma.
She floats into the air. Then, her stomach is on fire. Then she
grows and grows to the roof. Then, his parents come home. His
dad is surprised. His dad asks who did this. George said he did but
his dad didn’t believe him. So to prove it he gave some of it to a
pig. After George showed his dad how the medicine works his dad
wanted him to give it to all of the animals.
At the end of the story, George’s dad wants him to make
the medicine, but George doesn’t remember how to make it.
Hisdad tells him to try to remember what he put in it. George
remembers and tells his dad. Mr. Krankyjumps in his car and go to
the village. When his dad comes back George makes the medicine.
This time he gave it to an animal, but this time the animal shrinks.
So they get a crane, so they can give it to grandma. When they
give it to her she shrinks until she disappears.
This book caused me only a few emotions in me. I felt
happy when grandma disappeared. I felt surprise when grandma
went through the roof. The characters in the story in the story
seemed believable. I could relate this book because it’s funny.

2. In conclusion, GeorgesMarvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl
was a funny book. I enjoyed this book because I liked the events
that happen in the book. I would recommend this book to a friend
because it’s funny.
