A digital signature is an electronic form of Signature which
validates the authenticity of the documents. A valid digital
signature gives a recipient reason to believe that the document
was created by a known sender (authentication) and that the
message was not altered in transit.

How will Digital Signature used in Tally.ERP 9?
The module selects the digital certificate purchased by you from the
license certificate authority (CA) and validates the authenticity of
Sales Invoice document (PDF) generated from Tally.ERP 9.
The digitally signed invoice contains User Identity like Name, Contact,
Location, Reason & timestamp.
 Create & Email the digitally signed invoice from Tally.ERP 9.
 It generates digitally signed PDF from Tally.ERP9.
 It typically contains the identity like Name, Contact, Location and
Reason.
 You have to purchase the Digital Certificate from the License
certificate authority.
 Digitally Sign in vouchers like Sales, Purchase, Sales Order, Purchase
Order, Delivery Note, Receipt Note, Payment & Receipt.
 You can select the certificates purchased from the license certificate
authority during the print of invoice in Tally.ERP 9.
 The Certificate validates authenticity of the invoice on creation and
alteration of Sales invoice in Tally.ERP 9 using the Acrobat Reader.
 The signed or Unsigned PDF invoice are moved into the user defined
folder.
