Recommendation for Roland Papp
Roland has spent 2 weeks (from July 16 to 27, 2014) at the Hungarian Generali Asset
Management in Budapest, Hungary. The company is specialized in offering investment services
both for private and institutional clients and is responsible for managing the insurance
company’s assets, as well. Generali is the biggest player in the Hungarian insurance market.
Roland visited all the departments of Generali Asset Management, including sales, back-office,
front-office, private banking, compliance and risk management.
All the deparments provided especially positive feedbacks, highlighting that he was an attentive
and active participant in the processes. His curiosity and awareness are exceptional and I was
amazed how quickly he understood new expressions, processes and correlations. He was also
able to participate in important actual problems, and helped the team to make decisions in a
specific problem through developing a complex but clear excel file that we will use in the future
also. Roland is able to concentrate on the pure business problem and focus on developing
scenarios and make suggestions. He was less excited at the back-office department, as he
could immediately see through which processes could be automated and how. His abilities can
be utilized rather in a field with full of challenges, like research and development. I am sure his
openess, high level of precision and wide curiosity make him a top student of any universities.
We would also gladly welcome Roland in the company in the future.
