Essentials of Automations: Exploring Attributes & Automation ParametersSafe Software
Building automations in FME Flow can save time, money, and help businesses scale by eliminating data silos and providing data to stakeholders in real-time. One essential component to orchestrating complex automations is the use of attributes & automation parameters (both formerly known as “keys”). In fact, it’s unlikely you’ll ever build an Automation without using these components, but what exactly are they?
Attributes & automation parameters enable the automation author to pass data values from one automation component to the next. During this webinar, our FME Flow Specialists will cover leveraging the three types of these output attributes & parameters in FME Flow: Event, Custom, and Automation. As a bonus, they’ll also be making use of the Split-Merge Block functionality.
You’ll leave this webinar with a better understanding of how to maximize the potential of automations by making use of attributes & automation parameters, with the ultimate goal of setting your enterprise integration workflows up on autopilot.
Introduction of Cybersecurity with OSS at Code Europe 2024Hiroshi SHIBATA

HCL Notes and Domino License Cost Reduction in the World of DLAUpanagenda
Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-and-domino-license-cost-reduction-in-the-world-of-dlau/
The introduction of DLAU and the CCB & CCX licensing model caused quite a stir in the HCL community. As a Notes and Domino customer, you may have faced challenges with unexpected user counts and license costs. You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible. Don’t worry, we can help with all of this!
We’ll show you how to fix common misconfigurations that cause higher-than-expected user counts, and how to identify accounts which you can deactivate to save money. There are also frequent patterns that can cause unnecessary cost, like using a person document instead of a mail-in for shared mailboxes. We’ll provide examples and solutions for those as well. And naturally we’ll explain the new licensing model.
Join HCL Ambassador Marc Thomas in this webinar with a special guest appearance from Franz Walder. It will give you the tools and know-how to stay on top of what is going on with Domino licensing. You will be able lower your cost through an optimized configuration and keep it low going forward.
These topics will be covered
- Reducing license cost by finding and fixing misconfigurations and superfluous accounts
- How do CCB and CCX licenses really work?
- Understanding the DLAU tool and how to best utilize it
- Tips for common problem areas, like team mailboxes, functional/test users, etc
- Practical examples and best practices to implement right away
How information systems are built or acquired puts information, which is what they should be about, in a secondary place. Our language adapted accordingly, and we no longer talk about information systems but applications. Applications evolved in a way to break data into diverse fragments, tightly coupled with applications and expensive to integrate. The result is technical debt, which is re-paid by taking even bigger "loans", resulting in an ever-increasing technical debt. Software engineering and procurement practices work in sync with market forces to maintain this trend. This talk demonstrates how natural this situation is. The question is: can something be done to reverse the trend?

How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
AI Trends in Creative Operations 2024 by Artwork Flow.pdfmarketingartwork
Creative operations teams expect increased AI use in 2024. Currently, over half of tasks are not AI-enabled, but this is expected to decrease in the coming year. ChatGPT is the most popular AI tool currently. Business leaders are more actively exploring AI benefits than individual contributors. Most respondents do not believe AI will impact workforce size in 2024. However, some inhibitions still exist around AI accuracy and lack of understanding. Creatives primarily want to use AI to save time on mundane tasks and boost productivity.
Organizational culture includes values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits that influence employee behaviors and how people interpret those behaviors. It is important because culture can help or hinder a company's success. Some key aspects of Netflix's culture that help it achieve results include hiring smartly so every position has stars, focusing on attitude over just aptitude, and having a strict policy against peacocks, whiners, and jerks.

Google's Just Not That Into You: Understanding Core Updates & Search IntentLily Ray
1. Core updates from Google periodically change how its algorithms assess and rank websites and pages. This can impact rankings through shifts in user intent, site quality issues being caught up to, world events influencing queries, and overhauls to search like the E-A-T framework.
2. There are many possible user intents beyond just transactional, navigational and informational. Identifying intent shifts is important during core updates. Sites may need to optimize for new intents through different content types and sections.
3. Responding effectively to core updates requires analyzing "before and after" data to understand changes, identifying new intents or page types, and ensuring content matches appropriate intents across video, images, knowledge graphs and more.

Public Relations from General Marketing Service
1. Public Relations Project
This public relations assignment is de-
signed to increase the presence of your
product/message online resulting in more
of your product/brand names appearing
in Google / Yahoo / Bing search results.
Using traditional PR-release techniques
along with the latest web internet resourc-
es results in a two-prong system of reach-
ing out to message hosting locations.
The outcome includes guaranteed place-
ments among pretargeted sites along with
potential highly coveted publication place-
ments among major brand name sites
within your category.

Submissions Submissions
Professional Personal E-mail
Websites Blogs Websites Linking
3. Category Research
We begin by gathering as much informa-
tion as possible from you on your prod-
uct or service. We ask you the top 10
interview questions as established by the
PRSA. If there is digital content we would
like a sample to review, if it’s a website
we’d like access.
Next we’ll determine a category for your
product or service and begin examining
the web and publications for competitors,
topical articles, reviews, blogs, and other
places that will root out competition and
help us determine your position in the
marketplace.
4. Article Writing
With our research in hand we’ll begin
the delicate task of crafting a thoughtful
article on your product or service. When
possible we think its wise to establish a
“reason to believe” message of why your
product should be purchased.
In many cases we will tie in news, trends
and local events that support your prod-
uct / service. Very often we can create
scenarios where your product is a good fit
for the reader. This helps them envision
using it and benefitting from it.
While we are capable of writing HARD
SELL, our preference is a SOFT SELL of
your product or service. We’ll take some
guidance from you on your preference.
5. Dynamic Layout
While the words we write are the most
important aspect of your Public Relations
project we have found added success and
potential by placing those well chosen
sentences in an attractive package.
We take your story and we create a dy-
namic layout that mimics a publication.
This is our opportunity to show people us-
ing your product or service and show off
the potential successful results of that use.
The dynamic layout helps break up the
longer article into shorter readable bites
and with the use of subheadlines we can
allow a reader to scan the article and de-
termine the content more quickly.
Publication editors enjoy this concept as it
helps them envision how the story might
appear in their magazine or website.
6. Publication Submissions
As part of the research portion of the
project we will single out or target the top
10 or more publications within your prod-
uct or service’s category. In certain cases
we may substitute a popular website for
a magazine when it is apparent that the
website’s popularity supersedes that of
the publication.
We then submit your material to the edi-
tors with full rights usage. We offer them
both the text version and the dynamic
layout version with full photo use as well.
As you can imagine, these editors are
bombarded with submissions, but we
feel it is our “story-style” approach and
dynamic layout style that helps break
through the clutter.
7. E-zine Submissions
Across the internet there are a variety of
sites that accept article submissions from
their members and then publish these
articles on their sites. A common term for
these websites are called E-Zines.
Because of the consistent new material
the Search engines such as Google, Yahoo,
Bing and others visit these sites daily to
see what is new. Therefore the likelihood
of getting a good ranking is significantly
increased by appearing on any E-zine
Site.
If a web surfer types in keywords that ap-
ply to your article it is highly likely your
new article will show up on the search
results.
8. Article Pickups
The E-zine sites mentioned on the pre-
vious page offer their material to other
websites, bloggers, publications and other
sources that may determine the content
valuable.
When your article is picked up the read-
ership increases exponentially and your
brand, product or service gets noticed
more often.
It should be noted however that the more

tion. Since then dozens more have picked

of being picked up. This is why we be-
lieve in building a story and a reason to
believe around your product or service.
9. Results
The final outcome of this project is to get
your article and product information to
show up on Search Engine rankings so
that more potential customers will learn
about what you have to offer.
We know you’ll get a certain amount of
links from our guaranteed submissions
but the real goal is to create an article that
gets picked up by publications, blogs,
websites and other sources so they pub-
lish it as well. Some of that simply de-
pends on your product and the popularity
of that topic.
We do feel positive that this is a real
