- 3. GATE 2020 APPLICATIONPROCESS Registration: Visit GATE 2020 official website, Click on the link for new registration. Login: Login using email address or enrollment number that has been sent to you at your email after successful registration. Fill GATE Application Form: Enter personal details, contact information, academic details and exam center preference. Documents Upload: Upload scanned copies of your documents such as Photograph, Signature, Eligibility certificate (if applicable). Payment: GATE 2020 application fee can be paid through any gateway like Net Banking, Credit card or Debit Card. Registration Login Fill Application Form Upload Documents Fee Payment
- 4. STEP 1 –REGISTRATION Visit GATE 2020 official website and click on the link for new Registration
- 5. Enter First Name,Middle Name and Last Name very carefully After filling all the fields press ‘Confirm’ button. A form will appear on the screen
- 6. Enter valid EmailAddress and mobile number for communication Create a strong password and note it down for future references Click on ‘Submit’ Button to register
- 7. STEP 2 –LOGIN Candidate can login to his account through email address or enrollment number.
- 8. EXAM DETAILS Choose theexam you wish to appear in GATE 2020. Choose examination country. Choose any three examination city by your preference. Examination city should be different in all three fields
- 9. After Login, GATEApplication Form will appear. Fill up all the mandatory details. Enter all the details mentioned below accurately in the given spaces: 1.Personal Details 2.Address 3.Academic Details STEP 3 – FILL APPLICATION FORM
- 10. Verify your emailaddress and phone number by clicking on ‘Verify’ button corresponding to respective field. Enter Date of Birth Gender Nationality Category Person with Disability Status Dyslexia Status Country of Permanent Residence State/Union Territory Choose type of ID Proof and enter ID Proof Number PERSONAL DETAILS

- 16. STEP 4 –UPLOAD DOCUMENTS Photograph Photograph should be latest. Background should be white. Size of the image should not be more than 480x640 pixels. Dimensions: 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm The size of the image should be in range 5KB – 200KB. The format of the image should be jpg or jpeg. Signature Candidate need to sign inside a rectangular box of size 2 cm x 7 cm. Signature should be signed by black/blue ink pen. Size of the image should not be more than160x560 pixels. The size of the image should be in range 5KB – 150KB. The format of the image should be jpg or jpeg. Certificate of Eligibility Final year students need to download the certificate of eligibility available on the GATE official site. Students need to fill the form and get it attested from their respective institute. Scan the certificate and upload it. The format of the image should be pdf. The size of the image should be in range 10KB - 500KB

STEP 5 –FEE PAYMENT For Examination centres in India On or before 24 September, 2019 During Extended Period Female candidates INR 750 INR 1250 SC/ST/PwD* category candidates INR 750 INR 1250 All other candidates INR 1500 INR 2000 For Examination Centres outside India Addis ababa, Colombo, Dhaka and Kathmandu US$ 50 US$ 70 Dubai and Singapore US$ 100 US$ 120 Candidate can make payment through any gateway like Net Banking, Credit card or Debit Card.
