Fade In:
Ext. Stall Market/Town Square – Noon
Aureous-15 town square features a huge centerpiece fountain
accompanied by benches surround it as if they were observing the
fountains movements when the water flung in the air. A mild amount of
people passing buy the fountain also a stall market that features a
variety of items/wares hugged this area.
Fade to:
Ext. Stall Road
People walk by and momentarily look at the stall and see nothing of
worth to them in which they continue their stride.
JANESSA, 26, a freelance and self-employed artist making a living for
herself on Aureous-15s’town Centre and accommodating one of the
rooms in the flat towers, is walking by and notices this particular stall for
something she needed…
JANESSA (Thoughts)
Hmm, do I need some IAI care? At least I think I do.
She momentarily stops and walks towards the—

And stops to browse the wares the owner has. Pretending to browse

OLD MAN, 60, wearing tatty clothes and caked in wrinkles on his face.
A chap trying to make a living from the AUGUS SCIENCE technology
and earn his fair amount of credits to get by, says…
OLD MAN
“What are you interested in madam?”
JANESSA’s head shot up like a whack-a-mole fairground attraction
when she heard his voice.
JANESSA
I’m not sure IAI care I should buy
OLD MAN
I Just have the thing right here for you miss!
The Old Man’s hand’s hovered over the IAI section of the stall like
some sort of mechanical claw trying to attempt to pick the best prize it
could. The old stall owner was muttering quietly to oneself, presumably
to find the best bargain and brand he had in stock until…
OLD MAN

“ahaaa! There it is, how could I be so blind? I could do with some “eye”-
AI care myself”
Janessa’s her lips perked up from being scarce to chuckling to herself
in response of the old man’s “down to earth” humor but before she
could reply, she is interrupted…
OLD MAN
. “Here you go mi ’dear, that’ll be 15C please.”
Janessa gracefully gave him the desired credits needed to purchase
and exchange for the IAI care and replies with…
JANESSA
Thank you so much, this is going to help a lot, thank you
Janessa walked and waved away from the stall and the Old Mans could
be heard in the distance…
OLD MAN
“BE SURE TO VISIT AGAIN MISS!”
Janessa’s normal walking turned into a backwards walking motion as
she smoothly flicked around momentarily to smile and then transitioned
to her normal stride.
Fade out:

Town High-Street
Janessa made her way down the compact, exasperating and traffic-like
crowds, smells of traditional foods made her nose tingle with
excitement and curiosity like a shark picking up the scent of blood,
craving for the need of food. Though Janessa’s nose was constricted
and suffocating by this beautiful aroma of food, she dismissed it and
carried on walking and weaving past the crowds to avoid any contact at
all. The sights of buildings above Janessa made her feel small within
the canyon of buildings and apartments, towering above all and sitting
with such tranquility and upright posture. The never-ending lights on
buildings made them look like huge mosaic canvases with each light
corresponding to a piece of the structures abstract, displaying a
satisfying pattern/picture; the apartments and offices were on display in
an art gallery.
JANESSA (THOUGHTS)
Hmmm, that smell is tasty. Oooh the things I would do for a nice piece
of scrumptious food… Oh man but I don’t want to go into the place and
order food in front of everyone though. Oh well, I’ll wait till I get home, I
can dive into the fridge and eat whatever I want then.
Janessa continues to walk down the long and tiresome town straight
and looking upwards at the buildings above yet, so far.

JANESSA (THOUGHTS)
I didn’t realize how big these buildings are from looking upwards
towards them, they make me feel icky and stuff but, they look nice
though with their pretty lights and all. Maybe I should come out more
often.
Janessa becomes tenser as she’s walking through the high street,
becoming ever so more aware due to the anxious amount of people
walking straight into her path.
JANESSA (THOUGHTS)
Oh man, these crowds of people are just so scary, it’s getting a bit too
much for me here. I don’t know where to look!
Her eyes were flickering like a hallway light switch; up and down
constantly.
JANESSA
Alright, I’m gonna stand over there and calm down. I really need to
calm myself down and fast!
Janessa started to panic and her breathing got heavier and heavier,
performing the 7/11 calming method. She stands next to a storefront
away from the crowds of others and spaces out to calm down.

JANESSA
1,2,3,4,5,6,7…
Then she breathed out for 11 seconds
JANESSA
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11
She repeats tenfold and after a large amount of time passing before
she is calm once again, she is ready to plow through crowd-like traffic
jams to get to her apartment block.
JANESSA(THOUGHTS)
Oh, I can finally see my apartment. Yay! Finally going to get some
munchies at last. Been gagging for some food with all this Chinese food
staring straight at me.
Janessa briskly walks faster and faster till she reaches the apartment
building. Her face lit up like a Vegas neon light; happily, and so sudden.

Fade In:
Apartment Building
The building stood tall, strongly and seemed to be placed in such an
alien and unorthodox place; between two other tower buildings that
stood taller than the apartment building. Seemed like they didn’t care
where it was placed if it were built and sturdy, then all was good.
Noises being heard vertically escaping the small high rise building were
of angry people shouting and exchanging their best verbal insults that
they could give to the other whilst dogs barking in anger due to the loud
noise; yelling at them to calm down. Lights were flickering on and off
due to faulty wiring in the apartment building, made it an uncomfortable
atmosphere to bear and could make anyone’s anxiety fly through the
roof, literally…
Janessa confidently walks to the door, with a big, gleaming smile on
her face and humming a jingle she heard beforehand from one of the
Chinese bars she strutted be just briefly.
JANESSA (Thoughts)
The time has come. I shall finally get my food and hide away from the
peoples of the world. Why do I do this to myself? Can I not just
hibernate and not go out at all?
She takes a moment to unlock the door with her ID card that had to be
scanned to access the apartment block but she were struggling to open

it as the ID card had been chipped ever so slightly, prolonging to get
into her apartment room and exclaimed…
JANESSA
Oh c’mon really?!? Why does this sort of stuff actually happen to me.
Out of all days and people to choose, you choose me. Thanks fate you
SOB
YOUNG COLLECTED GENT
Dressed very formally and very friendly, approachable and kind. Mid-
length hair that was painted with a pastel-like brown with his face being
caked in augmentations.
He walks by, notices and overhears Janessa in a bit of an “emergency”.
He shouts in a friendly manner…
Can I be off assistance mi ’dear?
Janessa flicks her head around with the speed of an owl and replies
with a shocked look on her face.
JANESSA
Please, I’d appreciate it a lot if you could

He gets a reply and scurries over to help her out with her ID card
dilemma.
Watch this. It’s a trick I learnt back in the day when I had the exact
same problem.
He gently wipes the ID card on a nearby surface with the side that had
been chipped and wears it down a little bit. He then swipes the card
and then…
