This document contains infrared spectroscopy (IR) spectra for maleic acid and fumaric acid. The maleic acid spectrum shows peaks at wavelengths between 609.51-3057.17 cm-1 and intensities between 7.050-33.546%. The fumaric acid spectrum shows peaks at wavelengths between 580.57-3082.25 cm-1 and intensities between 30.726-70.838%. Both spectra provide data on the characteristic absorption peaks of the carboxylic acids which can be used for identification.
