a First it needs DG (Decomposed Granite)
b Then sand
We also need an arena harrow to attach to your tractor This will make it safer tor
everyone regarding riding.
The path around the property is also very dangerous for riding. In rain it is very
slick. In normal weather not enough grab for hooves. We probably need to put DG
around the entire trail to make it safe.
The bam aisle would be much cleaner and more functional with rubber mats
everywhere. Mike knows where to get them.
We need an official Oak Tree emblem for blankets, saddle pads, etc Can we get
something from you°
I bought a new truck but kept mine Are you interested in renting mine to keep at
ranch, hooked up to the trailer? (for emergencies until you get one)
Just a note on Wednesday at 6:15 p.m I talked to Eitan, the p.m. guard who worked
on Christmas Eve. He stated that Oded did not call him and he called Oded per Mike
and Jenny’s request. Just for your info. Since our meeting on Friday 12-28-01. none
ofthe guards have been briefed on our being able to come and go on the property
We have decided to come every evening about 6:00 p.m. to meet them ail and teach
them about horses and what to look for. They have all been more than nice and have
been very excited to learn about them as they all stated that all they check for is
blankets on and doors latched. The guards we have trained this week include Eitan,
Martez, and Haim. Also all guards stated they check horses every 2 hours. When I
talked to Oded about guards not having our names or numbers he stated he would
briefthem when he felt like it.
Should we go through Oded for sand, arena Harrow, Oak Tree emblem or may we 20
through Ann? Mike can handle all ofit and is very experienced in horse footins.
The doctor is coming Friday am to do some work on horses teeth. Also they have a
slight problem on skin from mud in corrals. We will be getting special medicine from
the doctor and also I will be picking up a product called Cedar rest, which is a special
shaving for outdoor corrals. This will keep mud out, horses cleaner, smell better and
look better. I will pick it up on Saturday. This will help clean skin irritation on
horse’s legs.
We were wondering ifyou would consider moving petting zoo animals to a larger
stall. This would also give Dobie a horse next door as he is lonely.
Bob.
Thanks Bob,
Jay

We are in need of a washer. dryer. and hot water to bathe horses. -
need to wash their blankets, saddle pads, rags. etc. The washer and dr ef
need to be bigger than the conventional size because the bianKets need to tit
in. Can we get one for the barn?
Also the wash rack and grooming rack needs a little reconstruction.
There is a chance of horses getting stuck and falling the way it is designed
right now. We would like to change it a little and wonder how you would
like us to handle that?

I am advised that ifa horse is frightened or feels threatened from behind, it may kick straight back sideways in either
direction, or even forward with either of its hind legs with tremendous force.
I am advised that if a horse is frightened or feels threatened from above it or on its back, it may hunch its back and

fastest time in thejumpofT, but dropping a rail at the final fence to place 4th in the $50,000 World Cup Qualifier - Autumn Classic Grand
Prix. This was only the third Grand Prix together for Jenni and the 8 years old Selle Francais gelding, owned by LoIU SijihnassL The
following detailed report was filed by world renowned sports writer, Craig L. Martin:

respectively in the 5100,000 HITS Tahoe Grand Prix in the finale ofthe five week series in Minden, Nevada.
Harrisburg. PA. October 22. 1999. Think Big, the talented New Zealand Station Bred gelding, now owned by Sulu Race of Galloping Fields
Farm (near Richmond, Virginia), soared into the national limelight in his final performance with Jenni on board in the 1999 $25,000 NAL
‘ Open Jumper Speed Finals, finishing 4th with a dean performance in a field of20. The pair also finished 6th in the Open Jumper Speed

impa. FL. March 2000. Dollar D'Amour is back in the ring after a wonderful and complete recovery from a serious illness during the
ellingtoa, Florida (Palm Beach) series. Jumping a dean round, he and Jenni placed 7th in the first Grand Prix oftf r Tsmpa series. The
525,€00 WEF Challenge Cup. Jenni also rras pleased with her first time ride on Rio Grande, the Hannovarian stafiiwi owned by Mr. and
Mrs. Augustine Wolch ofStratford, Ontario, Canada and Ocala, Florida.
When she came out with Dollar, I kind ofthought for sure some rails would be down, and my heart wasn’t
' even into watching her. About half way through, she made it dean through the first triple combo, so I
started to pay attention. There were two triple combinations, and I would say that the second one was
tougher because it was located near the end ofthe course, and the riders started worrying about their
time at that point Many horses had suffered time faults before Jen came in with Dollar, so she was aware
ofthe time hazard. Dollar was the 27th horse to go. When she went dean over the second triple, I couldn’t
believe it The second triple, although a bit lower than the first was tightly strided, and had eaten MOST
ofthe other horse and rider combinations. So when Jen cleared it I knew she had cinched a clean round.
She had a bad day, but a ray of light shone down upon her at an unsuspecting moment Three rails down
with Felix (Ready orNot), and I thought I mightjust pack it in, jump in the car, and get home early.....
in the $25,000 Wells Fargo Evergreen Classic on Sunday, August 13th. Jenni and Rio Grande had one rail fa t
offwhich gave them 4th Place. It was especially exciting for Jen because she was competing in front of many fam*
members, including her Grandmother, Jo Maurer, who had not seen her in live competition for many years.
0702/00 HITS, Tahoe - Minden, NV. Flying in just .548 of a second fader than the previous fastest time ofthe seven
horse jump-off, Jenni and the Hanovarian stallion, Rio Grande, owned by Augustin Walch, won the Rio Vista Grand
Prix, ending Hl I S Tahoe Week I on Sunday, July 2. Martin indicated that the course designed by 198-1 Silver Medal
Olympian, Conrad Ilntmfeld, suited herjust fine. ”... a little lower, but ... very technical, which was good.... easy
enough that the younger horses could go around as well and get experience. I thought it was a great jump-ofE Conrad
had a long track with a lot ofgalloping and turning which is fun for the crowd.” The pair also won the $ 15,000 Open
Jumper Prix on Friday.
Aho piecing in the money in the Vista Grand Prix, was Ready or Not, owned by Jenni and Steve McABIster- He i»d one
