1. Joel 2: 21-28
21Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will
do great things.
22Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of
the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the
fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
23Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the
LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain
moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the
rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

2. Joel 2
24And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats
shall overflow with wine and oil.
25And I will restore to you the years that the locust
hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and
the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among
you.26And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied,
and praise the name of the LORD your God, that
hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people
shall never be ashamed.

3. Joel 2
27And ye shall know that I am in the midst of
Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and
none else: and my people shall never be
ashamed. 28And it shall come to pass
afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon
all flesh; and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, your old men shall dream
dreams, your young men shall see visions:

…for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come
down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. V.22

9. 2 Sam.6:1-22
1Pagkatapos nito, muling tumawag si David ng
mga piling lalaki ng Israel; may 30,000 lahat.
2Pinangunahan niya ang buong hukbo at nagpunta
sila sa Baale-juda upang KUNIN ang KABAN NG
DIYOS na kumakatawan sa luklukan ng Diyos na
Makapangyarihan sa lahat. 3Kinuha nila ito sa
bahay ni Abinadab doon sa burol at inilulan sa
isang bagong kariton na kaagapay ang dalawang
anak nito na sina Uza at Ahio;

4si Ahio ay nauuna ng paglakad sa kaban. 5Si
David at ang buong bayan ng Israel ay sumasayaw
sa galak. Sila'y umaawit sa saliw ng mga alfa,
kudyapi, pandereta, castanuelas at pompiyang.
6Nang malapit na sila sa may giikan ni Nacon,
natalisod ang mga baka. Para hindi bumagsak
ang Kaban ng Tipan, hinawakan ito ni Uza.
7Nagalit si Yahweh at siya'y pinarusahan sa
ginawang iyon. Noon di'y namatay si Uza sa tabi ng
Kaban ng Tipan.

9Dahil dito'y natakot si David kay Yahweh. Sinabi niya,
"Paano ko iingatan ngayon ang Kaban?" 10Hindi niya ito
mapangahasang dalhin sa Lunsod ni David, kaya't doon
na niya inihatid sa bahay ni Obed-edom na taga-Gat.
11Nanatili roong tatlong buwan ang Kaban at
pinagpala ng Diyos si Obed-edom at ang
kanyang sambahayan. 12May nagbalita kay Haring
David na pinagpalang mabuti ng Diyos si Obed-edom.
Ito'y ikinagalak niya, kaya kinuha niya ang Kaban ng
Diyos at dinala sa Jerusalem.

12. 2SAM.6
16Nang sila'y papasok na ng lunsod, si David,
na noo'y naglululundag at nagsasayaw, ay
nadungawan ni Micol na anak ni Saul. Hindi
niya ito ikinatuwa
20Pag-uwi ni David upang kumustahin ang kanyang
sambahayan, sinalubong siya ni Micol. Binati niya si
David ng ganito: "Dakilang araw ito sa hari ng Israel
na parang baliw na nagsasayaw sa harapan ng
mga aliping babae ng kanyang mga tauhan."

13. 2SAM. 6
21Sumagot si David, "Ginawa ko iyan sa harapan
ni Yahweh dahil sa laki ng kagalakan. Sa halip ng
iyong ama at kanyang sambahayan, ako ang
pinili niya upang mamahala sa Israel. Patuloy
akong magsasayaw upang parangalan si Yahweh
22at gagawa pa nang mas masahol dito. Sa
tingin mo'y hamak ako dahil sa aking ginawa
ngunit sa paningin ng mga babaing iyon ay
marangal ang ginawa ko." v23Hindi nagdalantao
si Micol hanggang sa mamatay.
