A gerbil was locked in a cage but used its intelligence to escape when its enemy, a robber who had robbed the house before, broke in. When the gerbil and robber encountered each other, they both shouted loudly, waking up the homeowner who called the police. With help from neighborhood children, the gerbil found the robber and helped the police arrest and jail him.

2. One night in a house there was a gerbil that was very ingenious. He was locked in a cage, and it had a lock on the door of the cage. But he had an enemy, a mean little robber. He had robbed their house before. Now the gerbil was so smart he knew the combination. He did the combination and jumped out. Meanwhile, a robber was sneaking in the house. He snuck through the hallway, and so did the gerbil. When they met, the gerbil said, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait ’s a robber! ”

5. “ Fi ne. ” But it was too late. The gerbil had already found him. They had cuffed him and took him to jail. The gerbil was now part of the FBI and the police. The robber was taken to jail and was never seen again, but not really.
