This document provides information about a program that teaches homeowners how to turn their home gardens into small businesses selling produce at local farm markets and stands. The program covers business planning, equipment needs, crop selection, pest management, and marketing strategies. It will be offered over four evenings in April and May in four counties across Michigan, and topics will include record keeping, equipment, crop choices, pests/diseases, and marketing venues. The $55 fee includes presentations from MSU Extension experts.
