Land Acknowledgement
Simcoe County District School Board acknowledges that we
are situated on the traditional land of the Anishinaabeg
people. We acknowledge the enduring presence of First
Nation, Metis and Inuit people on this land and are committed
to moving forward in the spirit of reconciliation and respect.

If you are interested in trying out for the Junior Girls Volleyball
team please meet by the gym at first break today. Please be
there at 10:30 with your lunch and your running shoes.

A medical alert bracelet with a green wristband has been
returned to the office if this belongs to you please come and
retrive it at the office after the announcements.

There will be a cross country meeting Monday morning
recess be ready to run with proper running clothes, shoes,
water bottle, and a growth mindset.
Pop Tab Updates from Bear Creek! As was shared earlier the
pop tabs collected last year have covered the costs of a cleft
palate surgery, an electric wheelchair, and a specialized,
electrical, hospital bed for a child who was sick at home. The
VP sent a shout out to Pine River for our efforts and PRES
Rocks!

Monday Oct. 1st and a day to wear Orange. This is an act of
Remembrance and Reconciliation to honour those affected
by Residential Schools. Pine River there may be a special
activity to complete as a class on Monday.
There will be notices to go home today with youngest and
only for our Welcome Back Night Thursday Oct. 4th.
