Pine River Leadership Team meeting today at first recess.
We are making Scare Away Hunger posters and starting to
plan spirit days for the year.
Math Night is Wed. Oct. 18th! Families can RSVP in their
child’s agenda. If you said on our survey “I am coming” that
counts too!

Pine River is going to collect canned goods to help Scare
Away Hunger! The food bank is urgently looking for items
such as: rolls of toilet paper, tea bags, instant potatoes, fruit
juice, tinned vegetables, pasta sauce, puddings, broth mix
and toiletries. The food bank prefers not to have beans and
soup as they already have a lot.
If you bring in one of the urgently needed items, your house
colour team will get 2 points.

If you bring in an item they have a lot of, then your house
colour team will get a half of a point. If you bring in any other
food item that we did not talk about, such as rice, canned
tuna or canned chicken then your house colour team will get
1 point. We are not accepting money or perishable food.
Boxes for each house colour will be set up on Monday.
