2. In accordance with the Sustainable Mobility Plan, we will strive to improve convenient connections in the city so that travelling within the city by 2030, as compared to 2017, would increase by: 2 % on foot 7 % by bike 5 % by public transport Car trips would decrease by 14 %
3. To reduce previously mentioned level of pollution of the transportation sector by 9 % To reduce the emissions of nitrogen oxides from diesel cars by 51 %. (diesel cars constitute 70 % of the country‘s vehicle fleet) To increase freight transport by other means of transport by 30 %. One of the goals of competitive and resource efficient transport system indicated by the European Commission in the White Paper include: 30 % of road freight over 300 km should shift to other modes such as rail or waterborne transport by 2030, and more than 50 % by 2050, facilitated by efficient and green freight corridors. In accordance with the common objectives of the European Union, we will strive that by 2025: 100 % of digitally intensive enterprises and institutions have access to 1 Gbps Internet; 95 % of the country is covered by 5G and 100 % of households have access to 100 Mbps Internet In accordance with the National Development Plan, we will also strive to ensure a 42 % growth in the export of transport services. 5. The highest number of flight destinations in 2019 was 92 The network of electric car charge points will increase by 15 times from 360 to 5240 The railway Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda will be electrified. The electrification will reduce emissions to 60 %
