Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the United States, serving from 1929 to 1945. He was the only president elected to more than two terms and previously served as the 44th governor of New York. Roosevelt was born in 1882 and died in 1945 at the age of 63. He was married to Eleanor Roosevelt and attended Groton School before working as Assistant Secretary of the Navy.
