The Lakeline Station Learning Center is an ultra-sustainable building designed to meet the rigorous Living Building Challenge standards. It generates all of its own energy needs through a 70kW rooftop solar installation and can function as an emergency shelter during power outages. The building harvests rainwater, meeting 95% of its water needs, and promotes healthy indoor air quality through non-toxic materials and good ventilation.
