7. Creating the illustration- deciding on
composition and balance was important
before painting the final illustration.

get started. Look 2 plays up a casual
sophistication that complements Steven’s
high fashion aesthetic.

11. The Painting

14. All of the Under-Drawing is created
using a Pentel GraphGear 500
mechanical pencil with .5 hb graphite
sticks.

20. The painting is created using multiple
types and sizes of brushes including
Daniel Smith, Trekell, Robert Simmons
and Starving Artist brushes.
The paints are a mixture of liquid, tube
and dry watercolors.

21. All of the Under-Drawing is created
using a Pentel GraphGear 500
mechanical pencil with .5 hb graphite
sticks.
