Students will participate in a fossil drawing masterclass where they will draw and label a real fossil. They will have the opportunity to ask a paleontologist questions. Students will be marked on the scale of the drawing, labeling the name of the fossil and its parts, and the overall quality of the drawing. Examples are provided for drawing an ammonite fossil along with the marking scheme.
