5. MAIN OBJECTIVES
• Define airfreight transport strategies to improve Madrid's
competitive position.
• Face the challenges that arise in the development of air cargo by
finding common positions among the professionals in the various
activities involved in Madrid air cargo community.
• Convey the interests shared by Madrid air cargo community to
the public administration bodies with responsibilities in the sector in
a responsible and proactive manner with the aim of consideration
being given to and planning done for the infrastructure, services and
regulatory developments that will make it possible to solve
inefficiencies hampering the competitiveness of the sector.
• Promote the activity of airfreight transport originating in and/or
destined to Madrid airport.
 Help to convince institutions and public opinion of the strategic
importance for economic growth and job creation if Madrid develops
air cargo with the goal of leading the sector at the European level by
creating social support which is currently non-existent.

6. PROFESSIONALISM, INDEPENDENCE
AND COLLABORATION.
• Foro MADCARGO has an exclusively professional approach to the
matters it considers in its activity, and is absolutely independent of
public administrations and organizations, institutions, political parties
and any other entity, company or interest group.
• To promote its projects, Foro MADCARGO is associated with UNO,
Logistics and Transport Organization, actively participating in and
developing activities in its Air Freight and Airport Activities
Commission.
• From its position of independence, Foro MADCARGO seeks and
promotes collaboration with all those who are interested, or have
responsibilities on the Air Cargo, and participate in the same
objective of promoting this activity in Madrid
