Growing up as Paul Ropp's daughter, the author was frequently approached by strangers in Bali who knew of her father and his accomplishments. This initially frustrated her as she wanted to be known for herself rather than just as her father's daughter. However, she came to realize she should be proud of her father's vision, persistence, and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve success. His stubbornness and exotic creativity built the Paul Ropp brand into what it is today. Her father taught her that your reality and actions reflect your mindset, and if you think and dream big enough, you have the ability to achieve great things. The most important lesson she learned from him was the value of individuality.
