UPSIDE DOWN?
Forgotten Not Gone
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization,
EIN #46-3999869, that is dedicated to
helping save veterans and their families from
the destruction of suicide.
Feeling alone, forgotten, and abandoned
causes 22 VETERANS A DAY to take
their own lives in the United States.
Forgotten Not Gone is committed to taking
responsibility for helping our service members who were
not lost at war, but forgotten at home, make a decision to
live—through emotional, physical, and spiritual activities.

HOW DO WE PROVIDE
SUPPORT to Veterans?
Emotional — We provide a venue for service
members who have lived through similar experiences to
share and become comfortable with their past. We also do
talk therapy and encourage healthy coping skills.
PHYSICAL — Outreach through physical activity has
a profound effect on a person. We have a fleet
of recumbent trikes which
we ride with the vets
to help them get out
of their isolation and
avoid depression.
SPIRITUAL — ForgottenNotGone.org encourages
spiritual health and development for our service members.
We provide an outlet for veterans suffering from suicidal
issues to deal with them on a spiritual level.

Your donations of time, money and other resources are
greatly appreciated in helping us reach our goals—the
main goal being to reduce the number of veterans that
are taking their own lives.

The mission of Forgotten
Not Gone is to get suffering veterans
physically active and interacting with society.
Forgotten Not Gone is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
dedicated to helping save veterans and their families from
the destruction of suicide. Through emotional, physical
and spiritual activities sponsored by the organization,
veterans are encouraged to re-engage with society and
are brought out of the isolation that many experience
once they return home.
We find that physical activity is one of the surest ways to
engage veterans back into an active, social life. Too many
veterans go within, shutting off the outside world until it is
too late. Right now 22 veterans are taking their own lives
each day in America.
Peter Guidry, cofounder of Forgotten Not Gone, knows
firsthand the struggle and how much this organization aids
veterans. Guidry says, “I feel like I’m serving this county
again, but I no longer have to be violent to do so.”
