This document announces a one-day discussion in Tempe, Arizona on June 6th where 100 citizens from across the state will discuss and deliberate on key climate and energy policy issues as part of a global event. Participants will respond to an identical set of questions, receive background information, and discuss their views which will be presented to policymakers to inform actions on climate and energy. Citizens can apply by May 10th and will receive $100 for completing the full day of activities.

One hundred citizens reflecting Arizona’s demographic diversity will be selected
from across the state to participate. No prior knowledge of the topic is required.
We will provide background information and questions so participants can discuss their views
and share their thoughts. The results will be made available online in real time and presented
locally, nationally and globally to inform policy makers regarding actions to be taken on the issue
of climate and energy.
All participants will receive a $100 stipend upon completion of the full day of
activities.
