JUSTIN BRUNO is the president of the FAMU Student Government Association (SGA).
He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the FAMU-FSU

MATTHEW M. CARTER II is Counsel for Ramos & Sparks Group,

THOMAS W. DORTCH, JR. is chairman and chief executive officer of
TWD, Inc. In 1990, he became the state director and served as chief administrator for
United States Senator Sam Nunn. Mr. Dortch was the first African American to serve in
this capacity. Some of Mr. Dortch’s other accomplishments include serving as chief
executive officer of Atlanta Transportation Systems, Inc.; chairman and CEO of
Cornerstone Parking; chairman of Lancor Parking Management, LLC; and managing
partner of FAD Consulting, LLC. He also established the National Black College Alumni
Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc., and co-founded the Georgia Association of Minority

Master of Art Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Clark-Atlanta University in 1986. He also

KATHRYN BALLARD has a long history of charitable and community work, including
service on the Board of Directors of the Florida Special Olympics, the Florida State University College
of Human Sciences Board and the Board of Trustees of the Maclay School of Tallahassee. She also

almost 10,000 employees, an annual payroll in the state of more than $670 million and
revenues exceeding $1 billion.
Powers holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Sweet Briar College in Virginia, and a
master's degree in business administration, specializing in health and hospital
administration, from the University of Florida. She is a member of the American College
of Healthcare Executives and serves on the board of governors of the Federation of American
Hospitals. She is a board member and executive committee member for Associated Industries
of Florida and a board member for the University of Florida's Public Health and Health

DR. DAVID M. QUILLEN is an associate professor in the
department of community health and family medicine in the College of
Medicine. Dr. Quillen received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry
and history from Colby College and his medical degree from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his
family medicine residency and teaching fellowship at Duke
University in 1996. He joined the UF faculty in 1998 as an assistant

JASON J. ROSENBERG, MD, FACS is a Reconstructive Microsurgeon
