The Floating Cinema is a film festival held from June to August 2015 that took place on a barge traveling between Brentford and Bristol. In 2014, the festival had over 4,000 in-person visitors and 120,000 online visitors. It focuses on engaging young people through film screenings and workshops, as evidenced by its case study on the film Waterfolk. The festival relies on volunteers, including over 50 in 2014 and a group of Tour Ambassadors to help promote and participate in events.
