The document describes the process of creating an instrumental beat using samples from online sample libraries and websites. Key steps included assembling and sequencing samples, arranging them in a step sequencer, adding effects, looping parts, and setting volume levels to master and mix the final track for export at a high quality audio level.
These poems were used for my Forensics Speech Competition during my Junior year of high school. Presenting these poems in a speech format I was able to spread word about the issue of bullying. Also, these poems allowed me to present my speech at the Wisconsin High School Forensic State Speech Competition in which I received a silver medal for my excellence in the way I presented these poems.

1. I began to create this instrumental by getting
samples from loopport.com or purchasing them
from primeloops.com once I assembled my samples
I sequenced them into the step sequencer and set
the volumes balance to left and right and arranged
where I wanted the sounds to start and finish.
After I arranged and set up my samples I got an
original copy of Kanye West’s In Paris song and cut
it where I wanted it to start and finish I then
bought The Thunderbirds countdown sequence
from loop art and combined it with some
explosions and mixed it into an old skool sounding
instrumental I then put this together with some
fades and cuts so that it creates a drop out scratch
effect into the next part of the song I did all of this
using samples on the playlist which you drag in
WAV or Mp3 files into and rearrange them how
you want.
After I got my samples Sounds and effects that I
wanted to use and I arranged them how I wanted I
then added effects on to certain sounds so that
some parts of the song stand out from others i also
had to Loop certain parts to make it a repetitive
rap instrumental
2. I now have to set up volume levels and balances so
that everything is mastered and mixed this way we
don’t get any peaks on big audio systems while
playing the music
Once everything is done all the levels are correct
samples are mastered sounds are in the right place
and everything sounds how I want it it’s time to
export the sound generally I would export it as a
WAV file to keep the audio at the same level as
when I made it but if I did it in MP3 format it would
compress the audio and possibly loose sound
quality I try to keep the music at 240kbs as this is a
good quality audio track.
