The Constitutional Convention took place from May to September 1787 in Philadelphia to revise the Articles of Confederation. Although intended to fix the existing government, many delegates including James Madison and Alexander Hamilton wanted to create a new one instead. George Washington was elected to preside over the Convention. The result was the United States Constitution, establishing the Convention as a significant event in American history. 1st assignemnt

Students must submit the assignment in a printed format with specific formatting guidelines, including a particulars page, contents page, 6 page main body in Times New Roman 12 point font on A4 paper with citations, by September 29, 2017. The assignment is for an LL.B Semester 4 class on the US Constitution taught by Munir Hussain at University Law College in Quetta, Pakistan.
