                             English for Medicine



Saturday September 18th, 2010

   1. Present a case of your choice using medical terms including:

    •    Chief complaint

    •    History of present condition

    •    Past medical history

    •    Family history

    •    Medication

    •    Social history

    •    Other symptoms

    •    Physical examination

    •    Lab results

    •    Diagnosis

    •    Treatment

   2. Then present only the Diagnosis and treatment using non-medical
        terms for patient and family.

You are allowed to look at notes or cards but not to read directly from
them.

On the day of the exam make sure you submit a copy of your sketch or
notes with your name on it on your Portfolio.
