giving called on everyone to
give the first and best of their
harvest to God. You’ll find this
stewardship principle in the
Bible (Deuteronomy 26:1-2).
 In Lev 2:12 God told the
Israelites to bring an offering of
first fruits of their grain. Lev 23
specified having the Festival of
First Fruits.

 First-fruits giving is an attitude and act of faith. It reflects our
habit of responding gratefully to God before meeting all of our
other obligations in life.
 Quite simply, it means giving to God first, from the top of our
blessings, not from the bottom.
 It is the opposite of casual giving that is drawn from what we
have left over, after first taking care of ourselves.

First Fruits is
an OFFERING, an OBLATION,
A THANKSGIVING,
Our own from which we GIVE
to God who wants it,
the amount of which depends
on our generosity and gratefulness!

WE MUST RETURN BACK to God

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be

“and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and
pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough
to store it.

First fruits is what comes from the very beginning.
Tithe is calculated after the harvest when all the
increase has come in.
 It represents the ultimate “heart test” for the
believer
 Tithing isn’t really giving… it’s returning to the Lord what’s
due to Him.

Start Yearly Tradition in CFC (since 2003)
Held during the 1st Gathering of the CFC Leaders and
subsequent gatherings (Chapter Assemblies) in January
of each year.
Each CFC Leaders and Members to make their First
Fruits Offering.
Amount offering to the altar symbolizing blessings one
values in the form of money.

wisdom. Let these be a blessing to others; may Your Name be glorified
