Fire USB uses fiber optic cables to transmit data at speeds up to 1gb per second, much faster than traditional USB wires. It works by converting data into light pulses that travel through the glass threads of the cable at the speed of light. The technology could allow India to be the first country to adopt a standard for connecting computers and devices with incredibly high transmission speeds.
