Master’s Project
Breakup of Charged Drop in the presence of Electric field
The project topic has a great application in electrospraying, fuel injector
in automobile and aircraft engines, preparing emulsion. Different modes
of breakup of perfectly conducting drop in a dielectric medium in presence
of electric field is studied. The effect of viscosity ratio, & electric field on
breakup time and modes is studied using numerical code.
