This document discusses handling fugitive emissions from oil and gas operations in Ghana's Jubilee Field offshore. It presents methods for selecting the right seals and alternatives to mitigate fugitive emissions. The document was submitted as a project report to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology by Herminia Nchama Ela and Brukum Daniel under the supervision of Mr. Abdul Hameed Mustapha. It examines fugitive emissions sources like equipment leaks, flaring, venting and evaporation losses. Detection methods like soap solutions and odorants are also reviewed. The goal is to improve air quality and minimize greenhouse gas emissions by reducing air pollutants released from the Jubilee Field's production operations.
