Society, in 2011 it is estimated that in California alone
163,480 new cases of cancer will develop. Medical
Libraries are determined to assist health professionals
and researchers with valuable clinical research
information that could help save cancer patients.
 Cancer patients want to learn about their type of
cancer and it’s up to medical librarians and other
resources health professionals to facilitate these
services to them in a way they can understand.
