This document discusses a proposed documentary investigating why there are so few black managers in professional football in the UK, despite black players making up around 50% of players. The proposed documentary would interview black manager Marcus Gayle and journalist James Roper, use archive footage and images, and conduct vox pops to explore the issue. Research found the target audience to be mixed ethnicity males aged 35-45 from lower to middle class backgrounds. An initial budget of £300 is allocated for equipment like microphones and cameras. Distribution plans include releasing it on YouTube and partnering with online newspapers to fill a gap, as existing football documentaries only touch on this topic rather than focusing specifically on the lack of black football managers.
