Ferritic stainless steels are magnetic with a bcc lattice structure, characterized by high chromium content (10.5-27% by weight) and low carbon content (0.03-0.12% by weight). They contain small amounts of elements like manganese, molybdenum, niobium, and titanium, with little or no nickel. These steels are classified into five groups based on their specific types.
