Indicator 3.44: Diagnostic capability for detection 5 rare agents
One or more reference virology laboratories in your country have detection capability for the
following 5 rare and/or imported viruses: Chikungunya/Dengue/Hantavirus/Tick borne
encephalitis/West Nile (according to the ENIVD directory).
Scoring:
NA = not available/not applicable
0 = none
1 = for at least 2 out of 5
2 = for all 5
As the ENIVD network/directory updates were not fully active in
2015 we propose to use the 2014 score as latest available
Any other suggestion (e.g., to score the indicator based on your 2015
input)?

Do you have any suggestions for the reporting of the multiannual
data and trend analysis for the 2015 reports ?
- Country reports (expected publication December 2016)
- EU/EEA report (expected publication February/March 2017)

Indicators 3.21-3.25:
Active participation in the five EU/EEA networks
ELDS-Net (indicator 3.21), EVD-LabNet (indicator 3.22), IBD-LabNet (indicator 3.23), ERLTB-Net
(indicator 3.24) and Euro-GASP (indicator 3.25)
Scoring:
NA = not available/not applicable
0 = no
1 = participated in annual meeting OR successfully participated in EQA
2 = participated in annual meeting AND successfully participated in EQA
EULabCap:
Revision of indicator scoring for
2016 survey - target 3.2
17. 16
• Do you agree to review at the NMFP16 meeting in 2017:
– clarity/robustness of indicators/targets e.g. EQA;
– need for replacement/updating of indicators are not longer applicable.
