- 2. FADE IN 1. EXT FOOTBALL FIELD - DAY We see a football field on a chilly autumn day with teenage boys training hard. Some are jogging around the field,some skipping sideways, some doing knee high kicks, some stretching, some doing sit-ups and others kicking the ball around for fun. We zoom in on boy who looks to be struggling and is already out of breath. JACK Aww mate I hate having warm up before, I just want to get on with the game. CONNOR Ha we’ve only just started, there’s still a long way to get. Here have a drink. CONNOR tosses a water bottle over to JACK. CONNOR Alright come on lets go, first one to score a goal. CONNOR Dribbles the ball away from JACK. Leaving JACK breathlessly chasing him trying to steal the ball. The vigorously chase each other and tackle each other and roll around on the ground. Jack Fakes an injury dragging CONNOR’s attention to him. JACK quickly runs to the ball taking CONNOR by surprise. JACK finally gets hold of the ball. JACK Oh JACK steals the ball... CONNOR can’t keep up with the football master.. He runs towards the goal post. He runs. and he shoots!
