A Guide toFantasy Football Manager2011-2012
The ConceptUnlike conventional Fantasy Football, points are split into attack points and defence points.Attack points are made up of Goals (+6pts) and Assists (+3pts)Defence points are Goalkeeper conceding (0.5pts) and Defender conceding (0.3pts)To get your overall score you multiply your attack score by your opponents defence points.
ExampleAttack Points Scored	Young Scores 6pts	Torres Assists 3pts	Suarez Scores 6pts 15ptsOpposition Defence Points Conceded	Hart 1 Goal 0.5pts	Huth 2 Goals 0.6pts	Kompany	1 Goal 0.3pts 1.4ptsAttack Points x Opposition Defence Points = Overall Score 15pts	x	1.4pts =	21pts
The ConceptAnother difference from conventional Fantasy Football is the concept “points equal goals”. There are set targets you need to hit to score a goal. These are as follows:
Example continuedFollowing on from the example in slide 3:15pts x 1.4pts = 21pts21pts is greater than 16Therefore your team scores 1 goal
Please make sure you have understood this before continuing.
The Match day SpreadsheetEach week you will get a spreadsheet that looks like this.
The Match day SpreadsheetIn this section you will have your squad listed and the players stats for goals, assists, etc. for this match
The Match day SpreadsheetThe points scored by each player is shown on the right of this.
The Match day Spreadsheet...and is totalled underneath the columns.
The Match day SpreadsheetThe points section is copied underneath the score line and your attack points are multiplied by opponents defence points.
The Match day SpreadsheetYour score is then matched up to the section dead in the middle to work out how many goals you’ve scored.
The Match day SpreadsheetWe can see in this example Jackyorks Dragons scored 2 goals because 42.90 is higher than 37, the target to score a 2nd goal.
The Match day SpreadsheetThe part highlighted yellow is the next points target to score your next goal.
The Match day SpreadsheetThe section below this tells you the points you will have for the next...goal, assist or goal conceded by opponent.
The Match day SpreadsheetIt will show yellow if you will score a goal in our game if that thing happens. As we can see Jackyorks Dragons would’ve scored a third goal had any player scored again.
You now should have enough information to follow a match. Please post any questions on the forum.
