Home values were rising. Home sellers were profiting.
All of a sudden, buyers stopped looking and sellers yanked their homes off the market.

For over 100 years homebuyers have been accustomed to physically looking at homes before they purchase them, particularly if it was for their personal residence.
Back before digital photography, easy to record high-quality video, and the no-cost accessibility of the Internet, this made sense. There was no viable way to see a home without physically walking through it.
That is no longer the case. That's why it makes no sense for sellers to endure the inconvenience and possible safety considerations of letting just anyone walk through their home before they agree to price and terms... as long as the buyers were then given an "approval walkthrough" where they could walk away if the home was not accurately represented.
Is this the future of real estate? You tell me.
Sweden approached Coronavirus differently than the U.S. It's been called "The Sweden Experiment."
Instead of quarantining everyone Sweden quarantined the sick and recommended, but did not require, that the vulnerable stay isolated too.
What's interesting is Sweden's approach is not an experiment, it's what has always been done. Never in history have we closed businesses and forced everyone to stay at home.
Instead, we have isolated the sick and warned the vulnerable, exactly what Sweden is doing.
It's too early to tell whether "The Sweden Experiment" is the right approach, but one thing is for sure, Sweden is not conducting the experiment, we are.
On behalf of the millions of closed businesses and unemployed workers, let's hope we're right.
