For over 100 years homebuyers have been accustomed to physically looking at homes before they purchase them, particularly if it was for their personal residence. Back before digital photography, easy to record high-quality video, and the no-cost accessibility of the Internet, this made sense. There was no viable way to see a home without physically walking through it. That is no longer the case. That's why it makes no sense for sellers to endure the inconvenience and possible safety considerations of letting just anyone walk through their home before they agree to price and terms... as long as the buyers were then given an "approval walkthrough" where they could walk away if the home was not accurately represented. Is this the future of real estate? You tell me.
