Fabian Debora was born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Los Angeles to a heroin addict father and absent mother. He joined a violent gang at age 17 and battled depression and drug addiction for years until attempting suicide at age 30, which prompted him to enter rehab. His art commonly depicts influences from his upbringing and experiences as a former gang member, using dark color schemes with a central subject and background scenery. Mediums include canvas paintings and murals using acrylic and spray paint.
