2. Woodland By Day
Using woodland is a free, easy to use location with so much to offer. They can be seen
as eerie and lonely, or luscious and romantic. There is so much you can do and exploit
using woodland.
3. Woods At Night
Unlike in the daytime, at night woods are a whole different kettle of fish. They are creepy,
and this eeriness is heightened in windy weather, something which we may want to
utilise. These would be good in our piece when the actor is “tripping out” and the
woodland would only exacerbate this sense of fear.
4. Heathland
In the area we live there is an abundance of heathland, particularly close to my house
and school. Heathland can be very lonely, and using a panning shot or long shot we can
really emphasise this space and sense of loneliness.
5. Fields
Because we don’t live in a heavily suburbanised area, we are also lucky to have many fields
around us. These can be good to once again show loneliness, or they can also be used to
show romance etc, the possibilities are endless.
