2. CAUSES
L’ explotació infantil es va generar una gran
necessitat de treballadors que es va cobrir amb els
infants a causa del desenvolupament de la
indústria que va sorgir al segle XVIII a Anglaterra i
que es va expandir a la resta del món.
3. CONSEQUENCIES
Entre les conseqüències de l’explotació cal destacar
l'analfabetisme de la població, l'empobriment de
les famílies i el creixement del nombre de nens
malalts i amb les facultats físiques disminuïdes i
per a molts nens la escolarització és impossible i
llavors el país no es pot desenvolupar tenint mà
d’obra tan poc qualificada.
4. RETRAT DE LA REALITAT QUE ES VIU
Segons xifres oficials, en els últims 20 anys a tot el
món hem passat de 23 als més de 400 milions de
nens esclaus que son sotmesos a treball forçós sent
explotats sexualment en condicions similars a
l’ esclavitud guanyant fins a deu vegades menys
que un adult. I al estar treballant no estan
escolaritzats i perden la possibilitat de millorar en
el futur.

6. COM IDENTIFICAR NENS EXPLOTATS
Tots els menors de 18 anys que exerceixen una activitat
econòmica productiva que afecti el seu desenvolupament
físic o psicològic o, el gaudi dels seus drets.
Nens i nenes que són obligats a treballar i, després els
treguin els seus ingressos.
Nens i nenes entre els 12 i els 14 anys que realitzin un
treball que impliqui un risc per a la salut i sigui perillós.
Tots aquells menors que són víctimes de les més
dramàtiques formes d'explotació infantil com són:
Nens i nenes víctimes de les màfies (drogues, armes, etc.)
Menors que pateixen qualsevol forma d'esclavitud.
Menors obligats a prostituir-se.
Menors reclutats per la força, obligats o induïts a realitzar
activitats il · legals o que amenacen la seva integritat.
7. ESPAI GEOGRÀFIC PERSONES AFECTADES
Els nens explotats treballen en espais reduïts ,
amb temperatures altes sense quasi ventilació o
llum i insuficient alimentació; tenen càrregues
insuportables per tan petites esquena perquè no
poden canviar de postura i dormen en caus,
amuntegats, sense serveis higiènics; amb la
prohibició de parlar amb els companys; inhalant
dissolvents, pesticides i altres materials tòxics,
sense guants o màscares per això enfermen o
moren.
8. Possibles mesures de solució
Algunes de les possibles mesures que es poden fer
per acabar amb la explotació són:
Denunciar tot adult que estigui cometent aquest
delicte.
Els països industrialitzats s'han de comprometre a
no adquirir productes en els qual s s'hagi usat nens
i ajudar al desenvolupament dels països pobres o
en vies de desenvolupament
